Black seed oil has been used for a very long time as an immune booster and natural remedy for all sorts of things, however it tastes like death. Get the gel caps.

Was about to post this. Amazon pulled all of their listings down. I think Puritan's Pride is currently out of stock. Iherb is another good supplement site that was out of stock as of last week.

What is a reputable company for the caps? I had the oil ordered until I read about taste. I don't do well with bad tastng things.

ETA: What mg of Thymoquinone should we be getting in the black seed oil caps? That Amazing Herbs brand has much lower than some others I'm seeing but when it comes to natural supplements, you never know which brand is putting in the bottle what they say they are.

DISCLAIMER: I am no Doctor and have no idea what I'm talking about. Plus I am basing the following on my poor memory so the accuracy of my statements could be off, so take the following with a grain of salt and do your own research and do not trust me concerning the rest of this post. Anything you decide to do for any purpose is at your own decision and risk.

Based on what I have seen and read from some doctors and others on YouTube, etc., is that if you do get in an environment where you breathe in a lot of viral load into your nose and mouth, that viral load lands mostly on mucous membranes in your nasal & sinus cavities and mouth/throat area, and after about 2 or more days, the virus is finally able to infect the cells. Perhaps that is a 2 day window where a viral load could be obliterated before it infects.

One thing you can do very successfully in both preventing and treatment of Covid according to doctors like Dr. Peter McCullough, Dr. Pierre Kory, Dr. Been and others is to consider using gargles and nasal drops (or nasal rinses) with what they recommend. The stuff they recommend (such as diluted Povidone Iodine at the % dilution they recommend, plus some off the shelf products, etc. for gargling, nasal drops or rinses) is, according to them like 99.9% or 99.99% effective in killing the viral load in the two places where a viral infection is likely to take place. I can't vouch for these dudes, but they seem like nice guys.

So I take their advice and if I've been out for the day especially in close quarters around a bunch of folks, when I get home, I gargle and do a nasal rinse to hopefully obliterate any virus. I'll also do another followup gargle and nasal rinse the next morning in case any supposedly potential 0.1% or 0.01% viral load remains from the day before. I want to kill all of those little bastards (hope that is their correct pronoun). My thought pattern is the virus has almost zero chance of ever infecting me, as I plan to kill it before it has a chance to infect me. Plus, I have other immune enhancing supplements I take regularly and some therapeutics on hand if I do get sick. So far so good. I have no idea if this works or not, but I feel more indestructible and foolish in public than I did before.

More anecdotal information: I have to wash my sinuses every other day or so. I've never had even a worry of COVID, and don't really get colds/flus often. Just salt in distilled water, but still.

I've always wondered - because sinus washing is a somewhat common thing for some people - what COVID rates are like in those who are actual routine with it...? I don't go more than 2 days without washing them out.

But yes, I also took Vitamin D for years and was already eating Black Cumin Seed - I just eat them straight on stuff - and that had nothing to do with COVID, they are anti-inflammatory, good for the stomach, etc.

Very similar to my approach though you had a little more info that I’m certainly going to read up on. Thanks.

spinoff of nasal rinse---I recently bought this on Amazon before going on a crowded flight. It's a nasal swab with gel that they say is like "hand sanitizer for your nose"--it is 62% alcohol but with jojoba oi, vitamin E, orange essential oil. Coats your nose with virus killing gel. I used it and it felt fine, and gave me a little extra feeling of security.

Check out this form of Vitamin D.

https://dvelopimmunity.com/

Calcifediol is 3x faster, 3x more effective than the average vitamin D supplement.
