Telling you what is in the fanny pack after you asked is an odd response? You never asked if what was in the fanny pack was going to be effective and isn't relevant to the question you asked.

One question lead to another comment. How is this perplexing for you? If someone is in a tussle with a crazed gutter rat immigrant, stop fumbling in your man- purse for a freaking spray that wasn't effective in the least.
