I’d trust an actual terrorist over US intelligence agencies. Lying, incompetent, evil bags of shite.

Everywhere I go in the former USSR satellites - Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan and Georgia - Putin is reviled. And the opinions I encounter are always that there is only one reason Putin is invading countries; it is because he wants to enlarge Russia. It is simple imperialism.

I am in Georgia now, and there is a lot of graffiti about what shitheads the Russians are. In 2008 the Georgians were forced to sign a peace treaty with Russia granting them Georgian lands. Each year Russia moves the barricades a couple of hundred feet - just enough that the world treats it as a minor deal.

Putin is an evil dictator. The reason everyone assumed he killed Navalny is that it’s the sort of thing Putin routinely does.

I agree, but we can't say much when Assange is being slowly killed for reporting on American war crimes and Ukraine slowly killed an American blogger for saying mean things about Zelensky.

No surprise that our resident commies and neocons who bathe in the jizz of our intelligence community are now wiping all that jizz off themselves and throwing shade at the intelligence community.

The only one of those “lies” I have ever asserted is that he kills his political opponents. That’s the truth.

You are doing what a lot of angry people do - assigning all opposing opinions to each person who opposes you.

Putin is an evil dictator. Ask his neighbors. They almost all agree.

Does it make the evil tyrants in the IC apparatus any less of one?

what we think is of no matter. nor is the truth. what they can make us believe is the only thing of importance.

Who in this thread has argued that Putin isn’t an autocrat?

You are doing what a lot of disingenuous trolls do — assigning straw-man arguments to each person who opposes you.

See how that works?

Why was that?

It didn’t happen in a vacuum.

The Republic of Georgia had a FAFO moment.

They were dumb enough to believe that W would start WWIII over a land dispute.

FIFY

He is former KGB, so not trustworthy imho.

Then again, President “Thousand points of light” was a member of the U.S. IC.

Was he any more trustworthy?

I feel confident that being thrown in a Siberian gulag probably had something do with his death.

I certainly wouldn’t dispute the argument that Russia‘s correctional system is used as a means to target political opposition. I bet Epstein wouldn’t argue against that proposition either.

No, I’m telling you that the same people who shape your views about Russia and Putin have repeatedly lied to you about Russia and Putin. And instead of demanding to know why they keep lying to you and self reflecting, you continue to give them credibility.

If Putin were as “evil” as you people claim, it wouldn’t be necessary to constantly make up lies about the guy. You don’t possess the logic to see how illogical it is to constantly lie about someone then demand that people take you as credible.
