You’re a fricking dumbass FYI. It’s funny that you, and all of the other people who haven’t been in a fight in 35 years and have clearly never trained, think you know what you’re talking about when it comes to physical altercations.

If Steph Curry laid out a gameplan on how to make collegiate athletes better basketball players, no one would disagree. Rener Gracie lays out a way to make police better at fighting, suddenly every fake 43 year old tough guy becomes an expert on jiu jitsu and knows that that “gAy GrApPLiNg shite dOn’T wOrk oN mE”.

Getting sweaty on a mat while grabbing people's arms is not going to create "top notch cardio", or do anything more than create a marginal increase in physical capability in essentially sedentary people

Mmm yea ok, then why don’t you roll on over to your local BJJ gym so you can get fricking skulldragged for 15 minutes and report back. It’s so hard to watch people who are so clueless debate this and actually agree with a moronic take like yours

Have you ever sparred with a skilled and trained human being in any discipline? Boxing? Muay Thai? Kickboxing? Freestyle Wrestling? Anything?

No he hasn’t, along with 99.9% of this board. He wouldn’t be sitting there saying a bunch of ridiculous shite and arguing with someone who knows what they’re talking about if he had any experience there.

I’ll be the one to agree with you- you’re right and he’s 1000% wrong- but his bullshite sounds better to people who don’t know anything about controlling another human so I guess we’ll just lose this debate to the guys who have a black belt in sitting on their computers and reminiscing about how tough they were in 1968.

You guys are so badass. You should get matching Tap Out shirts for when you "roll hard" doing BJJ to each other.

Maybe Tiger Woods can teach cops how to golf better so they can swing their batons like a real pro!

If you were around in the 80s, I'm sure you'd have Mr. Miyagi teaching cops to trim Bonzai trees and doing kicks on wooden posts

Cops wish they made 60k a year. Starting salary where I’m at is 30k.

Coming from the moron who thinks “people have released DVD’s that show any fit male how to control another person”? one of us is a fig McDojo loser and one of us can actually fight, and I’ll gladly meet you wherever you live at your local MMA or BJJ gym so you can test out your Officer Hardo strong guy theory

You get your feelings hurt way too quickly.

Most police have adequate training. The issue right now is the incredible turnover, which is a direct result of progressive stupidity.

I didn't say this, for the record. I understand how butthurt you are that your wrasslin hobby isn't that important, but no need to lie.

Definitely. Make a burner email and we can set something up. Don’t just sit there and talk shite on the internet, I’ll put my business on hold for a day and devote my time to educating an old timer who doesn’t know how things work in real life

It means what I already said. It's just more karate fig instructor bullshite that misses the root of the issue, which is that most of the people they want have flopping around doing arm bars are physically weak, substandard people who would benefit more from eating food and lifting weights than any of these stupid BJJ classes. It used to be karate and "krav maga" (and other super awesome combat sports!) that were thing that would give officers the advantage, now it's "rolling" in BJJ classes three times a week. It's a joke.

Almost all of the useful combat skills can and have been taught outside of a BJJ curriculum for literally millennia, AND ARE TAUGHT TO COPS ACROSS THE WORLD TODAY but it wasn't until modern times that people have become stupid enough to believe that 140lb Derek Chauvin or 115lb female can go "roll" for 3 days a week and be physically competent for the dangers they can face on the street. These people need to be stronger, first and foremost, and no amount of rolling is going to change that. Derek Chauvin is 140lbs and his gear weighs 30+lbs, putting him at a distinct disadvantage over anyone even in his own weight class, much less a man 200lb in street clothes, so it's obvious that root of his issue isn't a lack of knowledge of some super awesome MMA skills. It's that he is small and weak.

You mean shithole blue states and cities where they are always wanting federal taxpayer handouts?

How about men teaching their children (mostly boys) to not argue with, run from or fight cops?

If these animals are going to be badass and fight cops they deserve whatever happens to them.

I am sick of whiny arse pussies always blaming cops for taking out the trash when the trash is the one who instigates the whole thing.

We have such a fricked up country.
