No worries. It’s an easy mistake.

Didn't Mellencamp freak out recently and storm off stage after getting booed for preaching his Dem politics?

That’s why I always say, never mixed business with politics, you’re bound to lose half your customers.
Johnny Carson did it right….

I love Bruce's earlier work....he really used to mean something to working class Americans....he was a cultural phenomenon in his day and Bruce really represented the working class and his message resonated around the country...not just in the NorthEast or New Jersey.....and he was an amazing live performer
This. I saw him at the Assembly Center in 1978 and was able to walk right up to the box office an hour before the show to buy a ticket. I had to camp out underneath the ramps to get tickets for his show in 1980. I used to love his music.

Stevie is just as much of a commie as Bruce is.

I heard a stat lately that roughly half of Americans feel there will be a civil war in the next 10 years.
Really just need identifying uniforms (targets), battle lines, and one really bad day.
Of course the Dem Leftists have a head start on us as far attacks go.

Johnny Cash mixed his music with politics but didn't come off as a narcissist or condescending to people unlike the Dixie Chicks.

True, but I liked him in the Sopranos.
I thought his character was ridiculous and acted as poorly as AJ's.

JCM has a much more punchable personality than Bruce Springsteen. I acknowledge their talent as musicians but always thought both were kind of overrated, cannot stand JCM’s music.

It's really difficult sometimes.
Just tonight I see a customer supporting that tranny Olympic boxer and it took a lot to not go off on his moronic arse.
I may just move him to the back of the queue randomly going forward.

Van Zant himself is an ultra-leftist... he's not saying it's sad that Bruce is a Leftist, he's saying it's sad that half the audience won't listen to them because of that,,,
Keep your politics to yourself and you won't have these problems.

Silvio is right.
Springsteen should not have been open about his strong leftist political preference. He could have been much bigger.

To the extent I understand your lingo, I'd submit that Bruce is perfectly content after recently selling the rights to his catalog to Sony for $500 million and is enjoying life as a 75 y/o billionaire, on tour, giving three hour shows to packed houses of all ages just for the frick of it. He creates pure joy for millions of people. All things considered, I think his choices have been pretty sound.
