His point still works the same with Obama. Obamas dad wasn't a traditional black American. He grew up in Hawaii, so just like harris has no actual connection to the historical black struggle.

Not sure why it's so hard for people to understand that that may be a major difference in that community. Yes they fell for his schtick, maybe big Mike helped unlike kamalas hubby, but they may have learned there's a difference since Obama didn't do jack for them.

She’s not, in any way, a culturally black American. She is half Indian, about a third black, and the rest white. She was raised by Indians in Canada. Her own father denied his black roots, claiming to be Caucasian and Hindu.

Besides changing her racial identification as it politically suits her, she has no idea what black American culture is.
