Thats a Chinese perspective because they have no avenue for political change in their country other than a revolution.
America already had a revolution. Present day we have a better way to effect change, it's called voting in elections.
We the people have to start voting for better representation in congress.

The CCP is stoking nationalism with the tariffs, they will be united when they come after us. I hope this country can get it together because we are so divided that I don't think we'll unit even if we were to find ourselves under the Chinese bootheel.

I fear what Trump has done is embolden our enemies, both foreign and domestic over out maneuvering them into defeat.

How specifically do you believe they will do that?

A kinetic or terror attack would result in us icing them out of global trade networks before we fired a single round their way. As an export economy they would collapse without western markets to sell to. As we export relatively little to them we would be relatively fine as we shifted our imports to nations like Vietnam, India, Mexico and elsewhere while we brought online our own critical manufacturing domestically.

This is a fair and valid concern. Trump has my unequivocal support, but there is no realistic path to getting the leftist base to align behind him given the history since 2016.

Fortunately we don’t need them. We just need the center and the GOPe to stop backing the globalists and the hard left becomes an angry group of dissent without any real consequence from an agency standpoint so long as their money cords are cut from fedgov via USAID and DOGE.

“Our” enemies were going to be maneuvering against “us” regardless of what Trump decided to do.

You can’t be afraid of action. Trump is counterattacking them all on a grand front without precedent and has the power of the US government with him.

Wars cannot be won purely on the defensive, stop thinking just in terms of what “our” enemy is doing and start considering the fronts on which you can impact them assuming “our” goals are actually aligned which is to say the reemergence of America as an economic powerhouse capable of standing on its own and employing its middle and working classes without shipping its wealth overseas to the detriment of both current and future generations.

I don't care if we "defeat" China. I just don't want us to be continuing to be fricked over by China nor us depending in China for essential goods/products. Also, we should expel all Chinese students here on visas.
Why should we be educating our antagonist/enemy??
Those students come here because China lacks our educational abilities. It's a undermining of our national security to continue to do so.
