Whether he is a good Christian or not is beside the point. That is a beautiful message for Christians the world over.
HE IS RISEN.
HE IS RISEN.

Incorrect.
Defense of Religious Liberty:
Trump prioritized religious freedom, which many Christians view as a core tenet of their faith. He signed an Executive Order on February 6, 2025, establishing the Task Force to Eradicate Anti-Christian Bias, aimed at eliminating perceived anti-Christian policies and practices in federal agencies.
During his first term, he issued an Executive Order in 2017 to uphold religious liberty, protecting the rights of religious organizations and individuals to act according to their beliefs. For example, he supported the Little Sisters of the Poor in their fight against mandates requiring contraceptive coverage, which they viewed as violating their conscience.
These actions protected Christians from government overreach, making him a champion of the First Amendment’s guarantee of religious freedom.
Pro-Life Policies:
Trump is often described as the most pro-life president in U.S. history by his supporters. He was the first sitting president to speak at the March for Life in 2020, signaling strong support for the anti-abortion movement.
He appointed three Supreme Court justices (Neil Gorsuch, Brett Kavanaugh, and Amy Coney Barrett) who contributed to the 2022 Dobbs decision, overturning Roe v. Wade, a major victory for pro-life advocates.
His administration also implemented policies like defunding international organizations that promote abortion, reinforcing his commitment to protecting unborn life, which aligns with the Christian ethic of valuing life from conception.
Support for Israel:
Trump’s foreign policy decisions, such as recognizing Jerusalem as Israel’s capital, moving the U.S. embassy there, and brokering the Abraham Accords, were seen as supportive of biblical Israel, resonating with evangelical Christians who view Israel’s prominence as tied to eschatological beliefs.
His visit to the Western Wall in 2017, the first by a sitting U.S. president, was symbolic for many Christians who see support for Israel as a religious duty.
Engagement with Evangelical Leaders:
Trump cultivated close relationships with evangelical leaders like Paula White, Robert Jeffress, and Franklin Graham, who portrayed him as an ally of Christian causes.
His administration included faith-based initiatives, such as the White House Faith Office, and he frequently invited pastors to pray at events, signaling a public embrace of Christian imagery and rhetoric.
Some evangelical leaders, like Rabbi Jonathan Cahn and Lance Wallnau, likened Trump to biblical figures such as King Cyrus or Jehu, suggesting he was divinely appointed to advance Christian interests, despite not being a traditional Christian himself.
Opposition to Perceived Anti-Christian Trends:
Trump’s rhetoric often framed him as a defender of Christians against secularism, globalism, and progressive policies. His 2024 campaign characterized his mission as a “righteous crusade” to restore America as “one nation under God,” resonating with Christian nationalists who see him as protecting America’s Christian heritage.
He criticized policies like the Biden administration’s 2024 declaration of Easter Sunday as “Transgender Day of Visibility,” positioning himself as a counter to perceived anti-Christian cultural shifts.
Judicial Appointments:
Beyond the Supreme Court, Trump appointed numerous conservative judges to federal courts, who are seen as likely to uphold religious liberty and traditional values. Supporters argue this will have a lasting impact on protecting Christian interests for decades.
Cultural Symbolism:
Trump’s public gestures, such as holding a Bible outside St. John’s Church in 2020 or selling special editions of the King James Bible in 2024, were seen by supporters as bold affirmations of Christian identity, even if controversial.
After surviving an assassination attempt in July 2024, Trump claimed divine intervention, a narrative that reinforced his image as a God-protected leader among some Christians

It is literally the title of the thread, so it is the main point.

Garfield and McKinley were probably the two most hardcore Christian Presidents. Many will say Carter and Biden, but he gives me weird vibes. It's hard to support his positions and say you're a Christian. GW Bush was religious more than most as well.

Jimma Carter was as much a Christian as Joe Biden was a catholic.

Not even close. What did he do for Christians? Nothing compared to President Trump. Actions and Words are totally different. You know how many "Preachers" give sermons on Sunday but took in Millions of dollars to help 15 million illegal aliens flood our country from NGOs? Some of you need to learn the difference between Actions and Words

Correct.
Action: Carter’s stance on abortion was nuanced—he personally opposed it but upheld Roe v. Wade, emphasizing legal access over moral prohibition. This disappointed pro-life Christians. He also supported the Equal Rights Amendment, which some evangelicals saw as conflicting with traditional family values.
Alignment with Words: Here, Carter’s actions partially diverged from his words. While he spoke of life’s sanctity, his policy choices prioritized individual rights, leading to tension with evangelicals who felt his faith should translate into stricter moral stances.
Engagement with Christians:
Action: Carter maintained ties with evangelical leaders early on, like Billy Graham, but distanced himself from the emerging Religious Right, criticizing their political influence in the 1980s. He engaged more with mainline and progressive Christians post-presidency.
Alignment with Words: His words about faith as personal and nonpartisan aligned with his reluctance to align with the Religious Right, but this cost him evangelical support, suggesting a gap between his rhetoric and the expectations of some Christian voters
Evangelicals felt Carter’s actions fell short of defending Christian values on issues like abortion or traditional marriage. His loss of evangelical support in 1980 (to Ronald Reagan) reflected this gap, as many felt his words about faith did not translate into policies prioritizing their concerns.

I would bet a thousand bucks that if Joe Biden were in front of someone today and told: 'Spell the word Catholic. You have ten seconds starting now.' He could not do it.

Incorrect. You judge a man by his actions not his words. His actions provide a clear window into his heart. Even before he became President, Trump was always doing kind deeds for others without seeking recognition
Verified Kind Deeds with Limited Evidence of Seeking Recognition
The following acts are documented with some degree of verification, and while publicity often followed, there is evidence suggesting Trump did not initially seek widespread recognition for them:
Helping Annabell Hill’s Family Farm (1986):
Details: After Annabell Hill’s husband committed suicide, leaving her family farm in Georgia at risk of foreclosure, Trump reportedly paid off the $77,000 debt. He personally traveled to Georgia to burn the debt papers, an act of symbolic support.
Evidence: Reported by contemporary news outlets and corroborated in later accounts, such as a 2016 247sports article and X posts in 2024. The act was prompted by Trump seeing Hill’s story in the news.
Recognition Context: While Trump’s involvement became public, the initial gesture appears to have been a direct response to a news report rather than a premeditated publicity stunt. His travel to Georgia suggests personal investment, though media coverage followed, which he did not overtly resist.
Critical Note: The publicity aligns with Trump’s pattern of leveraging good deeds for image enhancement, but the act itself was concrete and impactful, with no evidence he sought attention beforehand.
Providing a Plane for Andrew Ten (1988):
Details: Three-year-old Andrew Ten, an Orthodox Jewish child with a rare illness, needed to travel from California to New York for medical treatment but required life-support equipment that commercial airlines refused to accommodate. Trump provided his private jet to transport the boy and his parents.
Evidence: Verified by Snopes in 2016, based on contemporaneous reports. The family reached out to Trump, and he agreed without hesitation.
Recognition Context: The story surfaced in media reports, but there’s no indication Trump actively promoted it at the time. Publicity likely stemmed from the family’s gratitude and media interest rather than Trump’s initiative.
Critical Note: The lack of self-promotion at the time suggests a genuine act, though Trump’s later tendency to highlight such stories during his political career raises questions about retrospective amplification.
Supporting Darnell Barton, Bus Driver (2013):
Details: New York bus driver Darnell Barton stopped a woman from jumping off a bridge, an act of heroism that caught Trump’s attention via news reports. Trump sent Barton a $10,000 check to honor his bravery.
Evidence: Confirmed by Snopes in 2016 and reported by the Buffalo News in 2013, which noted Trump followed through on his promise. X posts in 2024 also reference this act.
Recognition Context: Trump publicly announced his intent to reward Barton, which generated media coverage. However, the gesture itself was unsolicited, and the publicity appears secondary to the act, as Trump responded to a news story rather than orchestrating the event.
Critical Note: The public announcement undercuts the “no recognition” criterion, but the act was spontaneous and not part of a broader campaign for attention.
