They've had those for a year, I thought you had something new for me.

The replacement for the atacms is coming into service. But im sure you thought that was a super brilliant gotcha you had.

I can't believe people are still dumb enough to parrot this nonsense.

There are actually people that will defend funding forever wars just as long as we replace those donated weapons with new ones.

There are people actually dumb enough to post as if they know everything, while actively demonstrating they understand almost nothing about the reality.

I can be against ukraine funding while still understanding that the atacms isn’t our “new” stuff as the person i originally replied to was implying.

But whatever strawman arguments you guys need to make yourself feel better.

So give away perfectly good weapons we’ve already spent billions on then spend some more billions on new weapons?

Sounds exactly like the grift we’ve come to expect from the MIC.

I didnt say it was right, just that you look ignorant acting like atacms is our new stuff, which was the post you orig made. It came into service in 1989, was designed and tested before that. So its not the over exaggerated 50 years old you stated, its *only* 35 years old… that IS old tech by any measure.

I agree with you that we shouldnt be sending/funding, i just actually care about factual statements that strengthen my argument as opposed to gotcha circle jerks that the poliboard loves so much.

It’s not brand spanking new but it’s certainly not 1950s weapons like a lot of Ukraine boot lickers have implied.

The whole point, the one that seems to escape you, is that we are giving away perfectly good weapons that we’ve already spent billions on then spending more billions to replace them.!

Nope, i understood just fine. Its just not a helpful point to make acting like it isnt older tech. They’re obviously still incredibly effective.

Im on the same page that theres plenty better uses of our tax dollars than sending to Ukraine.

The point is that it’s not some 1950’s tech like what the give Ukraine everything crowd has been trying to peddle
