It is just possible that back in history some really stupid, ill-advised points were made.
but much like those natives in "The Gods Must Be Crazy" we must follow them, because "history" or something

He can stop going on news shows and do his job if that’s how simple it is to make it non political.

What’s funny is 6 months ago most posters here said the fed needed to raise rates bigly.
Sdvcuck has been banging the drop rates drum for a year now and everyone here disagreed with him and called him an idiot until like 10 days ago

These are not necessarily contingent on one another. Frankly, the dollar is strong and we need to keep bullets in the chamber now.
It's ludicrous to argue that Trump should have raised rates, especially since inflation was caused by outrageous government spending and Covid BS that mostly marked Biden's term

And what has changed with the higher rates? The consumer dgaf and continues to purchase and institutions continue to give money to idiots, making more of a premium. At the government level Congress hasn’t done anything to fix the budget or make cuts.

I can't wait until Trump gets his own Fed Chair. There will be so much winning that we get tired of winning. The only reason we're not doing so much winning now is because Jerome Powell is sabotaging Trump. Once Trump chooses his own Fed Chair, I anticipate a 25 dollar per hour payraise and 15 cent eggs!

That it was stupid of Trump to push for artificially low rates during his first term?

Inflation has plummeted, for one.

But the MB genisues said the half cut caused massive inflation

Was that bad? Should rates have stayed near 0% for the entirety of trump’s first term?

Even Bard gave up that fight.
Posted on 4/22/25 at 10:12 am to JohnnyKilroy
It’s certainly cooled but we aren’t going back to where we were. Biden also fudged the numbers saying it was transitory when it was still month over month inflation.

Well yea. That’s never been the intention. Who told you the goal of raising rates was deflation?

Biden said that?

Haven't seen him post much over there recently. Him and I Love Bama went on for about 2.5 years that the market was going to crash.
ILB was beaten down so bad he finally went bull in February of this year. That was my sell signal.
