You're right. Karoline asked for questions...then when a woman said "I have one," Karoline said "no." Honestly, I don't know if Karoline declined because of the identity of the reporter or because Karoline rethought the idea of allowing questions. Understandably, Karoline seemed choked up.

I think the White House would say, "when you let in millions of unvetted illegal aliens, you unnecessarily add to the risk of horrible, violent crime. Here's a horrific example of that."

Nice emotional appeal should play well with some. Trump not quite ready to pivot to sending American citizens to El Salvador so he's gonna refocus on the bad immigrants while he catches and punishes all immigrants for it.
