Has to be a rumor, throwing away millions of dollars in this manner is the antithesis of DOGE.

Though it's a drop in the bucket to him, Elon would never waste $40 million on some silly commercials.
Het gets enough attention through X and the MSM melting about him that he doesn't need commercials to get his word out. All he needs to do is post on X vs wasting $40 million on some ads
