We started putting ourselves in this position 50 years ago and have continued doing that ever since. The people who can't understand that are just tilting at windmills.

Imo, it’s related to disappointment that we haven’t established a clear trade plan with our major partners, China boasting that it’ll retaliate against other countries that try to work against them, and the Jay Powell comments which pissed off Trump and now question whether he will remain fed chair.

The markets don’t like uncertainty and we are some very uncertain times on the above mentioned issues that impact our economy
