WSJ: Bessent Says U.S. Wants to Help China Pivot Away From Exports

Is this really Bessent's Plan? "Hey China stop manufacturing things and destroy your economy like we did." So instead of putting pressure on China with Tariffs and force them to make a deal quickly that might have some short time pain on Wall Street his solution is to show China Wall Street can't handle a 2k point sell off and let everyone know the deal might take 2-3 years and hopefully he can sweet talk China to stop manufacturing so many products 
He knows that will never happen so clearly his goal is to slow walk the trade deal so nothing ever changes and the status quo remains the same. Ironically this is the same strategy the Deepstate/Globalist are taking with the Ukraine/Russia War. Slow Walk the negotiations and have Zelensky constantly try and derail the negotiations until the Midterms when they hope to weaken Trump. Very Easy to see what is going on.

Trump needs to start saving planet earth. No imports from countries that use coal for more than 25% of generating power. Also have to meet US air quality regulations. Better make it water too.

They better not. China is not our friend. It's not our ally. China is an evil entity that wants desperately to be number 1 on the world stage. I am not even a political expert and even I know that. Trying to be friendly towards China isn't going to change their true nature.

Do you know the difference between "his solution" vs "my solution"? I bolded the part of the full run on sentence where I said "his solution" since you cut it off in your quote. It sounds like he’s trying to give them a way out without losing face.
There will never be a deal with them if they can’t claim a victory of some sort, even if it’s a pyrrhic one, they’d rather die than “lose” to Trump/America.
