Southampton... not competitive thusfar, what going forward?

They're going down officially now. Can these players get up at all for their remaining games? What do you do if you are playing them? Sit your starters and use it as an "off" week?

This isn’t American sports

Every point matters

Squad rotation is one thing when in multiple competitions but no one is resting their first team vs Southampton for an off week. Especially if all they have left is premier league fixtures.

Well, they’ll definitely want at least two draws or a win to surpass Derby County’s record worst 11-point premier league season.

They still go down in history as earliest relegation from PL though.

Just like our football, they still want to put out good tape for their next club next season
