The board that still has a few members that were a part of the Bob and Jurgen bubbly personality hirings?

Nah fam. That's just an easy scapegoat to make.

Hey! That's my line!

But for real, if you think it's more personality-driven than money-driven, I have some fantastic beach front property to show you. It's a Kentucky address

You do know this is America, correct?

If Robinson just cleaned up his final pass he would be so good

He already is so good, but yeah, he’d arguably be one of the best LBs in the world if his final passes were a little bit better.

Not sure how the numbers made out at the end of the season, but there was one point post Christmas that Opta had him grading out as one of the top LB's in the prem.

He still has some weird baby giraffe appearances with the way he dribbles the ball, but it somehow seems to work because he does complete a lot of dribbles despite that.

Money is absolutely an ingredient, but it’s not reduced just down to the ability to pay someone. It has more to do with not wanting a personality that would implement a culture that falls outside the company line of “celebrating the game”, and the vibingness image that reflects the USSF. A stronger personality would be disruptive to this type of federation leadership. But you know this already.

There is nothing about this Uruguay team that tells me they will smoke us. Not saying we’re guaranteed to win, but if you were frustrated with our performance tonight you have to be equal in your criticism of other countries like Uruguay.

Lol you think this new-agey drivel is taken into account more than the budget.

You do realize a good chunk of the board is older white jews, right?

I’m not disagreeing with you, I’m helping you see that control is more behind the money.

That's your defense when we subbed out our entire midfield?

He’s our best player and we were up 2-0. No reason to have him out there the whole match. Injury risk and keeping fresher.

My take is Puli is one of the few who publically supports this crappy coach and he’s afraid to take him out. Puli of course wants to play but a good coach knows whats best over a player. But this coach can’t afford to have a disgruntled Pulisic so lets him do what he wants.

I’m probably Gregg’s biggest critic but the US has looked strong in their last two outings. Very aggressive and full of confidence. It’s good to see. The question is will it be enough

I think it was someone on Scuffed that described it as he looks like he gets jump scared every time the ball comes to his feet

I had no issue with the subs last night. I personally would have taken Pulisic off instead of Weah, but that really felt like the only sub that we had room to budge on. Gotta get Adams, McKennie, and Reyna as much rest as possible. Striker was always gonna be a sub too.
