Any way to turn pictures/screenshots of text into actual text on a computer?

I have about 300 multiple choice questions from several study guides that a friend sent grainy pictures to me. The study guides have the answers highlighted, and I’d like to get them onto a Word/Notebook type of format without the answers bold/highlighted so that I can study them better.
I started to type them out manually, and that’s going to take hours
Figured with all the new AI technology there’s got to be an easier way, but this tech stuff is not my forte clearly

There are tons of image-to-text (OCR) software, websites, and apps out there.
I have no recommendation, though. I do know Adobe makes one. Also, most of the photo-processing and scanner software offers something of the sort, usually, it comes with the software.

Most of the AI programs will do it (ChatGPT, CoPilot, etc), or you can copy/paste the text from an image within Microsoft OneNote or Snipping Tool.

All of this, and by the time he gets all the stolen test questions imported, he will have memorized most of them.

what the other people said. take a pic with your phone (either android or apple) and say 'read text'. its a default option these days.
