Got home this evening and Cox contour DVR is not working. I can not access any saved shows, DVR new shows, and none of my scheduled recordings are showing up. I called tech support and they have a prerecorded message saying they are aware of customer issues with DVR and they are working on it.

Anyone else having issues with Cox DVR in Baton Rouge?

I have this issue on one box. I am in Lafayette.

Do you have multiple receivers or what? Let us know what they say if you hear anything please.

Try unplugging the box and restarting a couple of times. I did it once before I called and it didn’t fix anything. I called customer service and they tried to restart it remotely but it wouldn’t work so they suggested I unplug it again. It started working after the 2nd restart.

I would try restarting at least twice before calling customer service.

I'm not sure how it affects this specific problem, but I was once transferred to second tier support and they suggested disconnecting the coax cable as well for at least 15 seconds when rebooting the box.

Contour is a cloud-based DVR. It's Comcast's X1 rebranded and leased by Cox. If they're having problems, it's in the cloud. You can try unplugging the DVR, like others have mentioned, in order to reset it.
