Anyone here have a LG C1 OLED TV?

After a pretty deep dive into TVs, this seems to be an overall winner as far as price, picture, and quality.
Does anyone have this thing?
Thoughts?

It's pretty much the top recommendation lately. I wanted one but my living room requires an 85" and I'm too poor for an 85" C1, so I got the Sony X91J.

I have a 65" LG C1 in my living room that I got about 6 months ago. Love it. Great TV with great picture quality.

I hope so, I just pulled the trigger on one.
It will be delivered on Thursday.

I bought a 65" last week and it will be delivered today. I was torn between this one and the Sony A80J. The reviews between the two were pretty identical. The C1 had a slightly, and I mean slightly, better rating in TV shows and Sports than the A80J. But the A80J has a slightly higher rating in Movies over the C1
C1
Movies- 9.3
TV Shows- 8.2
Sports- 8.7
A80J
Movies- 9.4
TV Shows- 8.1
Sports- 8.5

I bought the Sony 77” A80J last summer. Phenomenal TV. The difference is in the processor, not the panels, which are identical.
Sony upscales 1080p much better. But the LG is a great TV as well. Hard to go wrong between those two.

I have one in my tv room. I actually bought the A80J online on black friday - got an out of stock email like 3 weeks later after it never shipped. I cancelled and bought the LG C1.
No real complaints. At the time it was $1,799 I believe. I built out a false wall type deal and put the TV and speakers in. I paired it with a 5.1 setup - 2 towers, 2 surround, and center with a sub and Onkyo receiver. It's not the highest end set up in the world but it is nice. I almost think having good speakers is more important than the TV at times - guests seem to comment on the speakers more often.

The delivery time for my TV was between 9am-12pm today. 12:01PM I get a call from Amazon saying that my TV had been picked up in Dallas and that my new delivery date is Wednesday July 27. SO annoying

When you get it post a review, this seems like a fantastic set.

I went with the 77” Sony oled over the c1, but that was only because I got an insane deal on an open box at Best Buy. Either brand, oled will have better pq over led/lcd.
That said, my space is big enough where I could’ve gone for an 85” tv, and given the opportunity, I probably would go with an 85” high end led (eg. Samsung qn90a) over a 77” oled.

This is the call I just made. I'm at about 14ft viewing distance. Taking delivery Saturday, so we'll see. Replacing an old 65" LG B7 that has some burn in...which may have also affected the decision.

I have the 75" one of these. Purchased it last summer and it has been the best TV we have owned in terms of quality and performance. I replaced a similarly priced Sony and the LG blows it out by a mile!
The ONLY con to the TV is that it does not have an ESPN app built-in, so I have to use an Xbox or other HDMI device for LSU games and UFC fights that stream exclusively on it.

I canceled my order with Amazon and picked one up from Conn's yesterday for $100 less. My initial reaction is that this is a beautiful TV. Comparing it to the 2004 48" Vizio, the LG smokes the Vizio. I have an Amazon TV that has all of my streaming accounts already logged into it. So I used that to stream the baseball game last night. I was disappointed because the picture wasn't nearly as sharp as I thought it would be. Now I believe this is a streaming issue and not a TV issue. When I watched Youtube or something on the TV (not hdmi through Amazon TV) the picture was incredible. I am very happy with this TV.

I got the 65" set in April, absolutely phenomenal TV. Unfortunately it stopped working last week -- nothing appears to happen when I turn it on, but it does toggle my receiver on and off through HDMI-CEC and I can ping it and communicate with it using the LG webOS dev tools, so I think the T-Con board or panel has gone.
Still have to call and get someone out here to look at it.

Do you like perfect blacks more than getting the full brightness and color that the mastering is asking for? That is the choice you have to make.
I personally used to be a big fan of perfect blacks as a plasma owner. They seemed like the best of everything other than heat. These days, after owning LED and seeing OLED in person, I'd rather have HDR nits provided by high end LED over the perfect blacks of the OLED.

While perfect blacks are the most noticeable oled characteristic, there’s other benefits of oled as well; off angle viewing, motion and no blooming.
But, my opinion is size trumps all.
