Sorry if it's been asked. Searched, didn't find anything.
So.. is there a consensus on the best food delivery app?
In April I downloaded waitr since I heard it was local. But man, a $23 order turns into $40 real quick with fees..
Is there a cheaper one out there?

They are all that way. It's how they stay in business.

I would imagine some of it depends on location and population.
I live near Covington, LA; When my wife passed last year, four good life long friends pitched together and gave me 800 dollars in Grubhub gift certs. It was nice, but in and around Covington, LA there were only a handful of businesses that participated and delivery times were slow, even with very generous tips.
When I went to Northern VA/DC area to visit the kids and used Grubhub, there were thousands of options, and the delivery times were lightning fast compared to the Covington area.
That's all I got......

Download them all and just play the promotions game. Unless you use it a lot, you should have a promotion available to you on one of the platforms at any given time.
Still tip though
