You'd have to compare channel lineups for your area. And how much you'd use them.

Here is a generic comparison.

I use YTTV. A plus is that I can use it in multiple devices, and it has (unlimited) storage for recording.

But price has increased from $35 to $83 now over seven years.

quote:

2017: $35 per month
2019: $49.99 per month
2020: $64.99 per month
2023: $72.99 per month
2024: $82.99 per month

you can easily split YTTV with others to help reign in the costs. You can also watch YTTV on streaming devices outside your home. Typically, cable TV apps only let you stream from mobile devices outside your home.

We did the comparison and YouTube TV is still a better choice for us even with the price increase.
Plus we watch YouTube TV on computers and it's easy to do with YouTube TV.

You'll be getting fleeced with YouTubeTV also-- I think it's will be $85/month starting in January. But COX is the worst and I would give them as little money as possible.

Left Cox for YTTV a year and half ago and it’s much better. Switched internet to AT&T fiber and much cheaper when we bundle with cell phone
