Wired or wireless....
For use with Android to take calls and video conferencing on the go.
Side note... How do you try them before buying?

same! I use mine all day so I do not annoy other people. They wiggle out of my ears constantly. I find myself shoving them back in every 5-10 minutes wtf. I have tried many brands and size tips. They work at first then start falling out soon.

Occiam K23 bluetooth earbuds
I've been using these for a while now. Bought the older version for my kids and they're essentially the same.
Works great. Comfortable. Cheap. Long battery life. Can run/workout/cut the grass and never worry about them falling out. (The silicone ear clip is soft and flexible, but holds its shape.) Can wear them for hours. Microphones sound good on calls. Audio quality is great. For $30, they're a bargain.
edit: I want to add that Bose has good earbud inserts that help them stay in the ear.
I have some older Bose earbuds and they use the same inserts. Pretty comfortable and lightweight. Sound quality is very good. The downside is how expensive they are.

Yep I second the pixel buds pro. Although the bose stay in place better. You just get more function out of the pixel buds pro

Depends a lot on your ear shape. Pixel buds A series don't stay in well for me with any tip. These Jabras are the most secure that I've found.

Pixel buds are the only ones I've had that stay put and don't feel weird.

Jabra elites are the best for staying in your ears IMO.
The problem is that very fear earbuds are reliably good for calls. They'll all work, but if you don't want people to tell you they can't hear you well every other day, the options dwindle a lot. AirPods are better than most because of the design, but I don't know what the best current non-Apple option would be.
Just saw you said wired was an option, and if so then your call quality options likely get a good bit better.

I have J Lab Air ANC's. They had average ear security at best, until I switched to the foam tips. Compress them before putting them in just like foam ear plugs and they swell and create a great grip. Highly recommend no matter what buds you have.

I like the Samsung earbuds. They are not prone to falling out and are about $139 +/- depending on the vendor.
They don't have that ridiculous dongle hanging down that snags on everything from seat belts to jacket collars. Not only that, but they connect to my laptop, phone or tablet with ease.

The Jabras did well for me. The Samsung ones came with a little extra piece of rubber that made them the best I've used.
My current ones are $250 (found a sale) Sonys and they don't stay in well at all. I'm going to check this thread to see if there are any recommendations on how to make them stay in better.

Recommend Bose QC Earbuds II. Note that they are different from the first generation. They come with multiple sizes of the different rubber parts, so you have to mix and match to get your size right. But they’re great once you get the right fit. Run in mine routinely, and they don’t fall out or even get loose.

JBL Endurance Peak 3 - $70 at BestBuy
got a pair for my wife and quickly got another for myself.
besides retention a bonus is they've got the best battery life of any wireless that I've tested - lives right up the advertised duration
I like the way my Jabra's sound better but only if I'm sitting still for a while

I'll second the power beats pro. They are a little stingy on price ( I think in the 200 range now), but sound great and stay put. I only wear over the ear types when i'm doing any sort of moving around.
