downloading the ESPN app and it not installing after download.

"corrupted" error message

I just added a new in box/never been used (updated at activation) 2nd gen fire stick to an extra tv for tailgating/other. tried downloading the ESPN app from the cloud. it downloaded but failed to install with a 'corrupted' error message.

anyone else having trouble?

ESPN still works fine on my fire tv box ...it wants to update the app - but I ain't doin it until I know the update won't screw it up as well.

I had same trouble, it kept saying it was corrupt. I removed it from all my devices and reinstalled.

I just bought a Fire Stick and had the problem with the ESPN app trying to install but getting a corrupted message.

I went to settings, then My Fire TV, then About, then Check for System Update. There was an update available even though the device said it was current when I first plugged it in.

Installed the update, after which it does an auto reboot.

Installed the ESPN app, and it worked! Not sure if the software update was a coincidence or a cure, but give it a try if you have this problem.
