I have a lot of tv series and some up to 9 seasons with over 29 episodes each season. Is it worth putting that on a 1tb hard drive or just stick to movies?

If you already have the media files stored you should be able to figure it out by checking the size of the folder or folders with contents inside. (Right click, properties)
IMO it's best just to get a few cheap 8TB drives for media storage and one for back up purposes.

Are you traveling and trying to save physical space? Working with a portable HD?
In my experience you can get a lot more viewing time in the form of TV shows. With movies you want them to be of high video quality, but with TV shows you can generally be satisfied with a much lower quality (Endgame you want in that 4K HDR goodness, but a ten year old episode of House you’ll be happy with 720p - especially if your just watching them on a laptop).
I have around 2,100 movies on 12 TB, but have well over 2,200 episodes of TV shows on only about 3 TB.

Hey guys, I have 25 objects each weighing 100 pounds. What square footage do you think I need to store these objects?

Like others have said, you can see how big they are in explorer.
It all depends on the quality of the encode. If you want 4k remuxes, that's about 15 movies worth of space.
If you want 720p TV shows, that's a hell of a lot more.
