How to get files off a Google pixel 7 onto a computer?¿?

I've never had a problem doing this with any Samsung phone before. Just plugged it into my computer and it showed up like an external drive..,..

Should work the same way.

You may need to pull the windowshade down and change USB connection type from charge only to open on computer (I forget the exact terms used)

I'll give it a shot. Right now it just shows up on my computer but says it's empty.... It sure isn't empty I assure you..

Not sure the size of what you are trying to move, but using the Google Drive is another option. (no wires)

Are they not backed up to google photos? If so just download from there.

If the usb connection doesn't work for some reason, another easy option is to put the files on to Google Drive using the mobile app. Then go to Google Drive website on your PC and download from there.
