Anyone have a list of service providers, speeds, cost, and reviews that you can actually lean on to make a decision on what to get?

That’s rough that those are the only two choices.

I have ATT Fiber. If thats available where you're at get it. It's $50 a month and we get free HBO Max with it

Yes and no. From a competitive pricing stand point the more the better. I've used cox essentially since high-speed internet came out and have had nothing but good experiences. I'm sure you'll find mixed reviews on them, but I think that's the norm for ISPs since everyone's networking knowledge, equipment, location, etc is so variable. My only gripe is based on what ATT offers fiber at I feel like cox could be cheaper. But my internet works perfect and the price isn't outrageous, so I wouldn't even really consider it a gripe. However, when ATT fiber comes to my house, I'll be trying it out just to save money, the extra speed isn't an issue for me.

Eatel has little to no residential stuff in Baton Rouge lat I heard. Maybe for brand new developments, but cost-wise it doesn't make much sense for them to try to build into established Cox and AT&T neighborhoods not knowing if they will recoup the investment or not.

Eatel is not in BR for residential service.
