Is NFL Sunday Ticket worth it?

I can add it to my YTTV subscription but still doesn't seem worth it. Are there any alternatives?

Doesn't YT have a monopoly on it.
Only alternative would be IPTV or pay the man.

Well that depends. Are you going to watch games on it that you wouldn't be able to watch otherwise?

No. Just pay $10 for a few months for redzone.

You can get Redzone with the sports add on.
Sunday ticket is only for degenerate gamblers and people who follow teams out of market.

Living 100 ft from a sports bar seems to confirm that even degenerate gamblers would rather bring their 13 year olds to a bar to talk about the spread, etc.
I got used to Saints games being blacked out in Houston years ago, and neither our teams or the Falcons teams I presume you root for are worth that much money for out of market games. And lets be honest, during halftime of whatever you're watching, you're getting the highlights from a game you're not watching anyway. Following EPL has further solidified that I can just wait until the half to catch up on everything else, but I am also not out there looking for fire off hot taeks on X to amuse an audience of 0.
TL;DR: Seems useless.

I got it free for a couple of years when DirecTV had it. Watched a few Bengals/Burrow games, but mainly put it on Red Zone and let it run all afternoon. I wouldn't pony up for the whole package unless I was a big fan of an out of market team.

it's really great, but expensive. streams are great quality, no local tv bs graphics etc. can watch multiple games at once. I lost interest in redzone and find Sunday ticket much more enjoyable. I dont do fantasy though (basically I can key in on the best games on Sunday and watch stretches of those)

Yep you nailed it. Huge Saints fan living in Denver.

You could get NFL plus premium which is what I've done for the last few years. Then I just watch the games the next morning. I've reached the point in life that I can't stand to watch commercials for anything. A game can be replayed in less than an hour. My friends know not to mention ongoing game scores or results with me around.

My favorite thing about following the EPL is no freaking commercials.

For me it is. Sucked having to find streams that weren’t buffering for Saints games every weekend.
I also move around the house throughout the day so having to disconnect from one tv to stream to another just didn’t work for me.

Most of the regional games you catch are shitty though. Most people here don’t want to watch the cowboys and eagles or cowboys and whoever every week in South Louisiana. It is overpriced though.

Can anyone confirm if RedZone is included with U-verse u450 package? I cannot figure it out and the AT&T app is useless to answer any questions

Just commenting on Sunday Ticket. I had it last year. Barely watched the games. To me, it wasn't worth it, so I didn't renew it this year.
The NFL just isn't the same as it used to be.
That being said, maybe to you it is.

I've thought about it before, as I'm a Raiders fan living in Alabama. The only time I get to watch them live is national broadcasts if they're on NBC or MNF. Occasionally we'll get a matchup with Atlanta, Nashville, Miami, Jacksonville, or the Patriots that will be on one of the Birmingham stations. For some reason our CBS affiliate only shows the Noon games, and most west coast games are in the afternoon slot. They show Professional Bull Riding after the noon CBS game goes off. Still can't figure out why they don't do double headers like the Fox affiliate does most weeks.

If you have a college-aged kid, you can have them use their email to purchase the Sunday Ticket. College kids save about 60% off the sticker price. You have to log into YTTV with the kid's email, so it helps if it's someone already in your household.

No, as others have said I ended up watching the red zone channel more.

Most of the good matchups are televised. You will spend $$ to watch the 0-14 Browns play the 1-13 Jags in December. Redzone for the win.
