Laptop/Chromebook Recommendations

Hey all,
It's been a while since I went laptop shopping, so I'm a bit out of the loop. Hoping you guys can recommend something that fits my needs...
Use: Need a laptop/chromebook to keep in my gaming room. It will only be used to stream Twitch/sporting events, and look up guides (both text and video) for video games I'm playing. My preferred web browser is Chrome. I have a work laptop and a higher-end personal laptop for other purposes and I do all my gaming on consoles.
Features: I don't care if it's touchscreen, but would prefer a backlit keyboard.
Budget: Preferably $500 or less, but open to whatever. Not interested in refurbished models.
Any recommendations for laptops/chromebooks or specs? Thoughts on any of these (the latter has a backlit keyboard, which is a plus for me)?
1. HP 15.6'' Touch Screen - Best Buy
2. Lenovo - Flex 5i - Best Buy
3. Acer Aspire 3 A315-24P-R7VH - Amazon
4. Acer Aspire 5 14'' - Amazon
5. Acer Aspire 5 15'' - B&H Photo
6. Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 15'' - B&H Photo
Looks like #5 or #6 might be the best bet?

Yeah, my mistake. I would just look for whichever laptop has the best screen for the budget. That's about it.

Oh, sorry, I wasn't clear. I'm looking for a laptop/chromebook that I can use to watch Twitch/sporting events while I'm gaming on my tv. I'm not looking to stream myself.

Sounds like your needs are very light. I don't think you could go wrong with any of those listed.

Thank you!
Do you think 8GB of RAM is enough or should I choose a model that has 16GB, like this one: Lenovo 16" IdeaPad Slim 5 Laptop
Not sure if the one linked above is worth ~$100 more based on my needs?

Is it too far to cast from your personal laptop to your TV? I forget about that ability for weeks on end until I get a rando popup in Win11 asking if I want to connect my desktop to another screen.

I can cast it, but I'm playing video games on my tv, so this would be a secondary device to keep on my coffee table while gaming.
