Phone illustrates everything wrong with cellphones in America. Can't use it on Verizon, Xfinity, or Cspire. Just ATT and T-Mobile. Carriers aren't carrying it so you get to pay full price for it .
It's a true Flagship Android phone and is screwed by the carriers.

I'm able to use my oneplus on the Verizon network, it's just not officially supported so WiFi calling doesn't work

You pay full price for any phone through a carrier

You know what I meant.
There is a reason carriers offer the $0 or $20 per month deals.

I've been very happy with my Oneplus 12. I'll skip the 13 and keep mine for at least another year, possibly 2. I had a OP 8 before this one.

They released one in India last year that was red. It was pretty cool looking.

OK, if you can't use it on any of the carriers, how in the heck can you use it?

You can use it on AT&T and T-Mobile

The phone sounds great but we are retired, have Verizon and mostly do wifi calling because we are home most of the time so I'm it doesn't seem like a good option for us.

Understand. That's a problem here in the US.
Sony makes a great android phone. Can't get it here.
ASUS makes a great gaming phone, still has a headphone jack. WOn't work on those two carriers.
Here's a good one for you. Fairphone. Removable battery. Made to be fixable by consumers. Headphone jack. SD cards. Good luck finding a carrier here where it will work.
Taiwan's Nothing makes great budget Android phones. Good luck getting them here.
