motion detector lights or camera?

looking to put something on corner of house, where the front light, is blocked.
seems a camera might scare people off more, but would like some lighting over there as well.
also, do key fob blockers work, like bags, etc? shite heads stole wifes signal off the fob last night and got into her car and looked for valuables, ended up just pulling everything out of arm wrest and left it on her seat. She leaves the fob, literally 1 foot from door, in a key basket. I told her, why not just leave keys on the outside screen door handle.

i bought a 6 pack of these:
LINK
absolutely love them. Inexpensive, pretty easy to install and come with remotes so you can turn them on (leave the switch on all the time) and then configure them to just turn on with motion, set motion sensitivity, how long they stay on, brightness, and setting them to only detect motion at dark.
so far i have zero complaints and they can be angled to point almost any direction.
