Used primarily for playing golf. My 5 year old JBL charge 2+ finally died for good and I’m looking to replace it. Despite less than stellar reviews the JBL charge 2+ had great sound on the course. At one point I bought one of the UE speakers (thought the charge died but it came back to life) but returned it because it didn’t sound as good
Looking at replacing the charge 2+ will be about $200 which I may do unless there’s something out there that’s better

Wife and 2 teens have the flip…think it would be perfect size for cupholder…and its a great speaker plus waterproof

Just ran to Best Buy and listened to most of the usual suspects.
Grabbed the UE boom 3. The appeal was size and app with EQ than can be customized. Seems loud enough. I’ll test it out on the course tomorrow

I have an ultimate ears mega boom, it fits in my boat cupholders and has pretty decent sound for such a small package.

There are several brands with heavy magnetic hold for golf carts - Bushnell and G-ROK are a couple.

Sucks that the megaboom is about a half inch too wide for a standard cup holder
