Sonos TV Sound Bar Help

We have the tv mounted on the wall and don't want to have the sound bar wall mounted / mounted to tv. Also don't want cords hanging from tv to sound bar. I have a pass thru behind the tv to the media closet, so I was curious if there is some sort of hub that I can place inside media closet & connect tv sound to, then stream to sound bar.
I know I could just put a Sonos speaker in the media closet to act as a hub & stream to sound bar, but that's a waste of a speaker. Anyone familiar with a solution? TIA

Do you have a second hole in the wall for the soundbar? Just run hdmi back to it from tv but go through the wall.

you have said where you dont want the soundbar but where DO you want it? You want to install it in the closet?

You could probably stick an Amp in the media closet for that but that’s an $800 workaround.
I’d just TV mount the soundbar or do in wall or in ceiling speakers if they absolutely couldn’t be seen.
If you’re just trying to get sound down from TV to soundbar you could run a thin optical cable easier to hide in wall.

I kind of have a similiar setup for my outdoor TV, but using hard wired outdoor speakers. Fiber optic from TV to media closet, then optical to analog converter to Sonos Amp to hard wired speaker. If you're not going to need to output to hard wired speakers you can probably do a similar setup with the Sonos Port. You will probably have adjust the Lag time in Sonos App.
