I am fed up with the reminder system on Siri and Siri in general, but don't want to move away from the overlord, Apple. Is there a way to get this changed on my phone where I can just say HEY GOOGLE? I have tried to setup a shortcut but then I have to say HEY SIRI, HEY GOOGLE which is obsurd.

I have not had an iPhone in a long time, so I may not understand your issue at all, but isn't just this?

Here are step by step instructions on setting up Hey Google as a Siri shortcut so you can say "Hey Siri, Hey Google" to activate Hey Google.

Yes, I can do this, however, if i'm driving it's not the best to search through the phone for the google assistant app. I can do it when the app is open, I was trying to make it standard regardless if the app was open or not.

Got this one figured out, however, was trying to avoid the "Hey Siri" at the beginning. Just wanted to say "Hey Google, set a reminder for......".

Thank you, that pretty much answered my question. It's not possible to make it as easy as "Hey Siri" is but there are work arounds.

I’ve followed these exact steps and have had no luck getting it to work.
