Videos unable to load on tv

I’ve been streaming ballgames on ESPN app on my smart tv. A couple of days ago I get the message “unable to play video, error: user not authenticated”. Any one know how to fix this?

just turning the tv on/off leaves the apps running all the time. you have to kill power to the tv to get a fresh launch of the app in case its become unstable.

Log out and back in, unplugged and plugged tv back up, still same message.

my only other guess is that espn no longer supports the app on your tv. what tv/app system are you using? android? firetv? roku? apple? samsung/lg/tv apps?
if you have the option, consider uninstalling the app and reinstalling it if your tv gives you that ability.
