White Noise Machines for Office Privacy

Does anyone have any information on a good machine to help mask my conversations during meetings? I have a small office and I talk loud due to hearing loss and apparently, people can hear my conversations. I wear earbuds so they can't hear the other side of the conversation but I do talk about stuff others don't need to hear.

I am a very light sleeper and use a Dohm sound machine at night. It works great. Might put you to sleep, though

We have a Snooz white noise machine for our bedroom that works great.

Go to Target, go to the baby section and buy something with ocean sounds. Put stuff that absorbs sound (books, carpet, etc) in your office. And consider replacing what is probably a hollow core door with one that’s solid.

Now that I’m thinking about it… you may also have mic issues if you feel that you have to speak loudly for folks to hear you. You can get a cheap USB gaming headset which may improve your ability to hear as well as adjust your speaking levels.
I can listen to podcasts just fine through ear buds, but I feel like people will have trouble hearing me through them, so I overcompensate. If I have a mic 1/2” from my mouth like in the call center days, I speak normally.

Hatch makes the best baby sound machines. Not sure if there's an ocean sound option. We got a toy that comes with a sound machine that didn't include that option so we never bought a Hatch.

The noise machine won’t do anything for the others that hear you. It’ll only make you speak louder over the white noise machine. You would have to put the machine in the offices that hear you speaking.
