SECN+ is through your cable/ streaming subscription. You will need to download the ESPN app and select "log in through your TV Provider" in which you will use your Youtube TV/Directv/Dish/etc credentials to watch.

ESPN+ is a seperate subscription. Some of the games might be on there but the majority wont.

If you still have cable and have SEC Network already you will just need to sign into the ESPN app with your credentials. If you dont, you need to sign up to one of the streaming providers like HULU, Youtube TV, Sling, etc. to get the SEC Network and SEC Network+. Then sign into the ESPN app with those credentials.

if you have family or friends with cable they can just create an extra e-mail on their account with your own password that you can log into on the sec app with. i think some allow up to a certain amount.

I'm confused...if i pay for espn plus I should have an account and then just sign in thru my roku.

That should give me access to programming..is that not right?

Let’s start with a simple question. How do you currently watch tv?

ESPN+ does not get you SEC+ which is needed for most SEC games through ESPN's app.

ESPN+ is extra events. Some baseball games are available with ESPN+, but most of the SEC baseball games require a cable subscription through a cable company that offers SEC Network.

You can ask anyone you trust and know to just make you an e-mail account on their services and sign in with that on the ESPN app.

I share my Cox account with someone in Texas, so they can watch SEC baseball games. I actually can add up to like 7 different e-mails for people to use if I want. And I have a friend who shares his Xfinity account with me that I can use on the ESPN app if I want. He just made an additional login account with my e-mail on his account to use.

ESPN+ is it's own service. It does not get you access to SEC+.

Both ESPN+ and SEC+ are accessed through the same ESPN app. but require separate accounts and logins.

SEC+ is ONLY available through your cable provider.

In the ESPN app there is a spot to login to your ESPN+ account to access that content and a separate spot to login using your cable provider credentials to access the SEC+ content

If you do not have other liveTV or cable plans, and can't share. the best use of your money would be Sling Orange + the Sports plan. I believe your normal bill will be around $57/month (other live plans start around $90), and the often offer discounted first month options. I think you can then cancel the Sports plan around SEC tourney or college WS and catch all of the games on ESPN+, and just cancel Sling right after the college WS.
