American Airlines suspending flights on 3 European routes this summer

Blaming Boeing for not delivering planes in a timely manner. Sounds like they are setting up to sue Boeing.
I have been looking at flying into Frankfurt from DFW to visit friends in Germany and when I checked this morning, all direct flights from DFW to Frankfurt were gone. Prices fpr flights to Europe were already much higher than when I went 2 years ago and this won't help.

In a comment to Simple Flying, an American Airlines spokesperson confirmed the temporary suspension of three routes connecting the United States to Europe. The affected routes are:
Miami (MIA) to Paris (CDG)
Dallas (DFW) to Frankfurt (FRA)
New York (JFK) to Madrid (MAD)
The carrier has extended its temporary suspension of its service between Miami International Airport (MIA) and Paris Charles de Gaulle International Airport (CDG) in June and July 2025. This follows the airline's earlier decision to temporarily suspend the route starting in May 2025. According to Cirium data, the carrier is scheduled to operate daily flights in January, February, March, and April 2025, with only four flights planned for May.

DFW-IAH-FRA. I think there's a 748 flying IAH-FRA now on LH. It'd have to be cheaper for you than it is for me starting at IAH.
I wonder what DFW-FRA traffic (sold seats) was actually like before ... Question answered from the link; not enough seats to fill a -300ER it looks like, but a 787 would have sufficed.

I'm spoiled, I only fly direct.
We were going to fly into Frankfort and home from Amsterdam so now will probably just roundtrip it to Amsterdam.

I used to fly from DFW to Frankfurt several times a year. I usually got the Lufthansas non-stop..

That's still an option but flying back from AMS, its more expensive since I would have to fly AA back. I would be splitting tix rather than a simple open jaw on the same carrier.
