Any Good Ski/Snowboarding Places In North Carolina?

Thinking about going with some friends to NC to ski and snowboard but may just go to Colorado if there's nothing worth a damn around the SE

NC is having a hell of a year. Cold and snowy.
Beech Mountain is the highest elevation around, but it’s fairly secluded and probably most expensive.
Also look into Sugar Mountain, App Ski Mountain, and Wolf Laurel.

Beech is small but we love it. Highest elevation and will get several inches of snow while Sugar (30 minutes down the mountain) may not get any.
