Anybody here ever rent a VRBO house in Exuma with a dock and then rent a boat?

Had someone tell me today that it’s their favorite laid back vacation. Thinking about booking something for my wife and I next month. Would be a scouting trip for a possible family/multi-family vacation next year.

We've done exumas a few times. It's really incredible. Try to rent a place in February Point, especially if you are renting a boat.
Rent a house with a boat dock.
Rent the boat from Brown's Marina (they let you keep it over night).
Recommended places:
-Man O War Cay (catch it at low tide, unbelievable sand bars) Pack a lunch and ice chest.
-Chat n Chill (most popular, but most crowded. Get the conch salad) Great beach.
-peace n plenty (next to chat n chill, less crowded, good lunch, and great drinks) Great beach.
-snappy turtle (great lunch and view)
-Blue hole for snorkeling (just to the left of snappy turtle in the hurricane hole)
-Hoopers Bay (swim with turtles, take some cabbage or lettuce)
-Blu on the water (can get there by boat or car, but dock is a little tricky, across from Man O War) More upscale restaurant. Great Food and view.
There are some other great places to the north and south, but I would not recommend going by boat. Hop in your car and explore!

The post above couldn’t be more on point. Book the boat early or you might get stuck renting a boat from Minn’s which means you may have to drop it off everyday.

I have stayed at several different houses down there and my favorite area is Hartswell. It is right across from Moriah Harbour which has some incredible beaches and sandbars. Look up the Vine House. Perfect for a family stay. Has its on protected boat dock and nice pool area. Last boat we rented for the week was a 21’ Paramount from Island Exclusive boat rental. Sun was not out so the colors don’t really show in the water but this is the view from the house.

We stayed at Casa Bella twice and will go back many more times. It is my favorite place in the world. They had 20 foot Boston Whalers they rent to you docked right in their private marina, but they were recently stolen. From what they tell us, they can still get boats for you.

Renting from a rental company limits how far you can go with the boats.
