Any recommendations for Key west? Starting to plan a Bachelor Party of Mardi Gras of 2024. Any and all recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

I am going in a few weeks. I will scout it out for you.

Need some context. Like for one, why did you chose Key West in the first place?

Fly into FLL. Take a Flix Bus to and from Key West. Larger rental cars are overpriced and you really don't need to do a whole lot of driving once you're there.
If you guys like fishing, there are charter services out there. The bar scene is like a nautical Bourbon Street, but named Duval Street.
Publix will have anything and everything you need (groceries, beach supplies, shampoo, etc.) and is easily accessible.
You are going to be within very short distances of all things to do, and that includes the beach. If you want to spend the extra money to rent a place stay on the beach, I wouldn't blame you, but you should be within walking/biking distances from most places. Hence no need for a rental car.

IDK why you would need context? The bachelor wants to go to Key West so we are going to KW. Just trying to find cool things to do there.

And there is a free circulator bus that will save you steps. We drove to KW, parked the car at the hotel and didn't move it until we left.

Key West is a 5 hour drive from where I live, in Port Saint Lucie. I've never been to Key West, but plan on doing so in a couple of months.
I did go to Islamorada a number of years back, and we stopped at Robbies for lunch and to feed the Tarpon. That was a memorable experience - feeding a fish to a tarpon by hand while fighting off a hungry pelican...

I think what he meant was are you looking to just drink? Bar hop? Go fishing? Go to a strip club? Sit on the beach? Sight see? All of the above?

Why does the bachelor want to go there?
I could recommend 20 things that are no interest so it helps to know the reasoning why a location is being chosen.
Does he want to play golf?
Deep water fishing?
Snorkeling?
Just looking to get f'ed up?
Live music?
Beach?
Bike tours?
"Cool things to do" can vary so if you provide any context you will get more accurate answers targeted towards your preferences.
Didnt mean to ask such a sensitive question. Best of luck and enjoy your time Duval Street.

Fishing charter or charter a boat for a trip to the sandbar. If the weather is good sandbar days are great.
Hanks or Smokin Tuna for live music.

Love Islamorada and Marathon...both offer quite a few differences than Key West for sure. I am much more prone to stay in the middle keys and maybe make a day trip to KW than staying in KW and venturing out to Islamorada for a day trip though.
If I was planning a group trip I would probably start in FLL or Miami for a night, then maybe Key Largo for a night or two then Islamorada for a night or two then finishing in NW for one night and fly home from there because there just isn't enough in Key West to keep me interested for more than a couple of nights.

Nothing says bachelor party like spending 5 hours on a bus in stop and go traffic
Fly into key west and be done with it. Uber to wherever you’re staying. Walk everywhere

This. Stay in Old Town near Duval and you won’t have to get into a car until you go back to the airport.

We are flying into KW and we have rented an Air BNB on Duval St. So far we are planning to play a couple of rounds of golf at Key west CC because I believe it is the only golf course on the island. Other than that we have nothing else planned. Was more looking for good ideas that we would not have thought of.

Get out on the water some. Do a sandbar charter or a fishing trip or even a sunset booze cruise. Fury has one with a live band that would be the best for a bachelor party.

Key west has turned to shite. It’s nothing like it was 5 or so years ago. Has turned very woke and liberal
