Just curious for the family. Son wants Fogo, I was thinking Commander's Palace...but I really don't know anymore, it's been a long time.
Sunday brunch fyi

What type of brunch are you looking for? If just a meal tons of options (patois, La petite, Saba) if want a jazz brunch or more of a scene that’s a different question.

Commander's is a shadow of its former self.

There are so many great brunch options. Took visitors to Cafe Degas early Sun (10am) recently and had a great time. Then drove over to the park and enjoyed a lengthy stroll in the sculpture garden. A great brunch needs to be part of a larger NOLA experience.

Brennan's.
Get the beef filet medallions prepared table side. It's not on the menu, but still available.

Full Blast
Katies
Cafe Degas
Ruby Slipper is a solid spot downtown
Also the new Luzianne Cafe is good for very solid basic stuff, the $12 Benedict was good.
Uptown shoot for Clancy's or Patois.
My favorite breakfast in town was always La Boulangerie, but that's not exactly full service brunch.

Speaking of shadows of their former self
Since they went corporate chain, they are a shadow of a shadow of a shadow of what made them what they were

Full Blast is gone. Now a neighborhood wine and small plates restaurant called Rosella.

Clancy’s doesn’t do brunch and is closed Sunday. Patois does do a Sunday brunch.

Thanks for the heads up. We moved out a while back and my last time at Clancy's was a bit hazy, prior to meeting the Mrs. (no pics). Those were some fun years...

Had brunch at Muriel's near Jackson Square and everyone that ate said it was one of the best brunch meals they've ever had, and we were sharing everything.
