Breeze Airways Review

Did RT from MSY to CHS last week.
Takeaways:
I opted for the front seats (at 2 X the regular fare).
That price included two checked bags.
From a seat standpoint on the Embraer 195, 2-2, the first five rows are "Nicer", with more legroom and maybe a bit more pitch.
The in-flight service was limited to the smallest water bottle available on the planet and a tiny Kind bar with a regular Utz Potato Chip bag as well.
No other options.
Had there been another NS option on the route, I'd have chosen it.
Plane was clean, the folks were nice and the convenience was worth the spartan experience.
It wasn't Spirit but I think it might end up getting there. (And that is not a compliment)
I overheard one of the flight crew talking about that the fleet was getting some Airbus 220s soon.
Their route map are presently underserved routes and so I'll probably use them again and just deal with them being no-frills.
It was cheap, I'll give them that.

my folks just bought a place in NE AR and i was looking at fares, breeze MSY>XNA is 160 bucks, nonstop.
united MSY or BTR>XNA is 150, but with a 1 hr stop on houston

Yup, that's the allure.
I've got a kid in Huntsville, (the Alabama city, not the Texas prison) and Breeze has a MSY-HSV non stop.

right...a nonstop 2 hr flight vs a 10 hr drive.
i'll be a customer for sure, i can put up with a lot for that kind of time savings

Maybe there's someone else involved that might see it differently....

other than a small water bottle instead of a soda that seems like a pretty standard flight.

X2. This was basically my experience. I found the Breeze employees to be really nice. I’ll fly just about anything with two wings and an engine if it’s a direct flight…. But I really enjoyed it and think they will be around longer than people think. Blackrock just led a Series B round for $200 million and the founders past is strong
