Just a FYI, they're offering a status match though May 7th for their Silver and Gold tiers.

Yeah, my United status just expired. I'm Platinum with AA but they don't do status match with AA. Bummer.

What? BA and AA are both oneworld. BA will recognize your AA platinum status and give you their oneworld sapphire equivalent, Silver, by just adding your AAdvantage number on BA bookings.
