CBD Delta 8 in Mexico

Need the boards expertise. Wife takes these for her chronic knee pain. Traveling to Cancun at the end of week. Wife wants to bring her edibles. We’re reading that as long as the edibles are hemp derived and contains <1% THC, it’s legal. We’re still skeptical though…Anyone have some clarity on this matter. We don’t want to hide anything either. TIA

If you are Mexico, just walk into the pharmacy and buy some extra strength Vicodin. You can literally buy it OTC.

I wouldn’t risk bringing anything like that through customs. Even if it’s legal, who knows what kind of bullshite you could encounter with some Mexican shakedown.

Not a Britney Griner chance in hell that I’d risk it. THE law and the law they choose to enforce can be two entirely different things.

Even though customs in Cancun is pretty much non-existent. Grab your bag and walk out. Echoing others, just buy whatever you need when you get there.

The airport website indicates customs still use the traffic signal. If you hit the button and it's green, walk on. Red, and they search. Their site says a quick search, but I saw a family with every item in their luggage spread out on tables.

I would ask your doctor's office what the best thing for your wife to get in a Mexican pharmacy? Go from there. I'm guessing she is pretty locked into her gummies, so she's going to need someone other than faith and trust in the mexican pharma

We went in March and they have security randomly asking people to step aside. There are 6-8 tables and they pick through your luggage asking about vapes and alcohol. Some people just walk through and others they stop. We were stopped out last 2 trips.

You can literally walk into a dentist office and buy whatever prescription you want then go get it filled. I wouldn’t try to smuggle anything into Mexico

I wouldn’t risk anything shady in Mexico. The rules (if there are any official) could change as you stand there, depending on the “official”!
