Happy Easter everyone! Hope y'all have been having a great weekend. I've been browsing flights most of this weekend and managed to rebook some of my flights to save ~$260 on a trip to Cali in late June. Airline bookings have been down so some flights have been getting cheaper. We're not to pre-covid levels of cheap but it's at least reasonable for some of the locations now. Posting some of what I'm finding below, any questions feel free to ask

New Orleans to:

Seattle: $240 on Southwest, $317 on delta. Looks like most of July and August are on sale, best months to go up to the PNW. LINK

Boston: $187 on Southwest, $240 on Jetblue for the nonstops. Looks like most of May, finding some dates in early June and also July. Good time of year to get to the northeast. LINK

NYC- $167 on Southwest, $257 on Delta and Jetblue. Finding good flights in May, June, July, and August. Mostly on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Saturdays. LINK

Portland, Maine: $287 on Southwest
in May and early June. LINK

Las Vegas: $105 on Spirit in May. LINK

Nantucket, MA: $347 on Delta. Basic economy is a bit cheaper and you do get the free carryon with delta's basic economy. LINK

Charlotte: $160 on Spirit, was finding a few $199 basic economy fares on delta. LINK

Dallas: $97 on Southwest, $157 on American. Haven't seen it this cheap in a while. LINK

Minneapolis, MN: $108 on SunCountry nonstop. LINK

Houston: $97 on Southwest, $157 on United. LINK

San Diego: $267 on Southwest, $347 on Delta and United. LINK

Bozeman: $309 on Southwest in late July. LINK

Norfolk: $103 on Breeze nonstop. LINK

Fayetteville, Arkansas: $118 on Breeze nonstop. LINK

Raleigh: $110 on Spirit, $118 on Breeze nonstop. Didn't know Spirit started flying this route. LINK

Richmond, VA: $128 on Breeze nonstop. Had no clue Breeze flew all of these nonstops from MSY now. LINK

Washington DC: $189 on Southwest. LINK

Chicago: $180 on Southwest, similar on AA. Fourth of July weekend is pretty cheap. LINK

Austin, TX: $97 on Southwest, $109 on Delta for the nonstops. August is the cheapest, even July is $117. LINK

Aruba: $472 in May on American. LINK

Saint Thomas: $289 on Spirit. Pretty cheap for getting to the caribbean. LINK

San Jose, Costa Rica: $386 on United, $434 on American. LINK

Stockholm, Sweden: $700 on Delta in late July. LINK

Iceland: $649 on Delta in late August. LINK

Hit the character limit in the OP so I'm done . I discovered breeze has a ton of nonstops out of MSY now and for a decent price. Even if you have to pay for a carryon, they still have great prices to a lot of the southeast.

Also it looks like southwest may be feeling the effect of their recent decision making and having to lower the prices on their flights. Lots of nonstops out of MSY available in this sale. I was finding a lot of flights in May, June, July and August so it seems to be destination dependent
