It's through Spirit.

Spirit Airlines has announced a new direct flight between New Orleans and Tegucigalpa, operating twice a week. This will be the airline’s second route to the Honduran capital, complementing its existing service from Fort Lauderdale.

Do they allow chickens and goats on board from Honduras? It seems like taking a bus across the Honduran countryside.

If you've never flown into TGU, it's quite the experience. You definitely want a window seat. Pilots have to get special training and certification before they're allowed to land there, as the plane has to dip between two mountains and then spiral around like it's inside a snail's shell before being able to land.
