Yeah someone would have to hang back if you brought one that young. Find a sitter or designate someone to sit out on certain days.

I would bring a sitter...
they may do lessons but that isn't going to last all day, I just imagine them being cold and whiny.

Nothing makes you feel like a failure quite like learning how to ski as an adult and seeing all the kids not even in school yet buzzing all around like it's second nature.

Either bring a sitter or plan to put them in daycare/ski school everyday
We went a few years ago with a 1, 3, and 4 year old. They were in “ski camp” all day (9-4) for 4 days.
It weren’t cheap but it’s the only way you can ski

Yes. We rented a pair of skis for him. Played out back of house. Lucky we had ski in/out so he played in the back yard with skis and sometimes just boots on all day for four days. My mom was with us so she had a blast with him. He also wore them inside most of the time.
This was in Taos and the bunny slope is steeper than most I’ve seen so he didn’t want to try that. I would pull him around with a rope and he enjoyed it.
He was 3 at the time.

Don’t ski Aspen ski Buttermilk.
Plan to spend all day on the bunny slope.
My kids learned to ski at 3 and 4. They are decent and love it.
Patients is key, and the memories will last for a lifetime.

yes. Worked out great. We've used some or all of the following different years:
on mountain daycare
grandparents (highly recommended if possible)
ski school
taking turns skiing b/t me and wife (we generally like to ski very different things so other than skiing less, skiing alone doesn't bother us)
last year our oldest (4) was in ski school but his brother (2) was not there yet. we rented him some skis and would take him out for a couple laps off the magic carpet between our legs before we went to get his brother from ski school.

Find a resort with a kids club or pay for a babysitter

I wanted to go this year but had knee surgery in September, not sure if I’ll ever be able to ski again since I dislocated my kneecap
