Looking to do a long weekend or mid-week trip to Fairhope soon. Any suggestions on what to do while there would be appreciated. TIA

What are you into? Beaches, nature, food, golf, shopping etc...?
For lodging there are two key options for me - Grand Hotel, $1m view for $400+/night and the Daphne Hampton Inn with the same view for $150/night. Neither is actually in Fairhope. The Grand is nice but not worth $400-500. You can visit for drinks, meal, etc... without staying the night. They do have a nice course. Alternatively there is the Hampton 20 minutes north with a hella view, but they have let that property slide a bit (its not bad). Same view, far less money. Neither is walking distance to Fairhope. There is a Hampton downtown that is very walkable but no view.
For food, I would go to Wash House, Southwood, Mancis, Gambinos, lots of good little spots downtown Fairhope.
Downtown has a lot of shopping options, they are mostly closed on Sunday. IF you want to go shopping, put a nature-oriented item on Sunday and shop Saturday.

We visited Fairhope in July of 2023, for a week. TD commenters came through with very helpful info prior to our trip. Here’s the link to my post requesting help. My trip summary is the last post. Definitely keep in mind that the shops in FH close on Sunday.

You’re welcome! Enjoy your trip!
I was reflecting on our visit recently, and what has stayed with me the most was our dinner at Jesse’s in Magnolia Springs. It was an outstanding meal! We drove through MS several times that day, on our way to other sites, and it is a thoroughly charming town. I plan to spend more time checking it out on our next visit to Baldwin county.

Long time resident of Fairhope.
Kingfisher is a must. Same owners as chimes. Very reasonably priced but will need reservations.
The blind tiger at the Fairhope pier has great outdoor seating with a fantastic view.
Great outdoor scene with live music at bone and barrel downtown. Very good food
Cool outdoor bar scene for pre dinner drinks the monkey bar is fun.
Broken egg for breakfast is a staple.
The grand is very nice and romantic but you will pay a premium. But you can visit for drinks and dinner but both very pricey. Great quality but you are paying for it. The bar "buckies lounge" has a fantastic view outdoor fire pits that fill up fast so get there early for the best seats.
Panini Pete's also a staple for breakfast and lunch. He also owns a few other places in town called sunset point and waterfront in Daphne. All solid options.
Pizza is ravenite.
Sushi is master joes or wok by the bay. Both walking distance in downtown.
Sweet tooth can't go wrong with sugar house, Fairhope chocolate and genes beans for ice cream.
As mentioned earlier Gambinos is solid Italian.
I would try air BNB for some fun downtown locations.
