Looking for suggestions on how to do Grenada and Carriacou in the same trip.

We are staying in Grenada for a 8 days but want to do at least a one-night (two full day) trip to Carriacou. Looking at flights, they are cheap and quick compared to the ferry. Wanted to know if anyone has done this and, if so, where they stayed and the way they got there. Thanks in advance.

We almost did. I was in correspondence with somebody that owns a villa there.

Her comments..

“Assuming this is your first trip to Grenada, Carriacou is NOT to be missed. 2 or 3 nights is great and an unforgettable experience for your children. It is the TRUE caribbean experience. Likely your children will be heading off to college so this is the time to give them this experience. One must go into town and intact with the locals and your one big outing in Grenada should be a day trip to the Grenadines (Mayreau and Tobago Cays) which Dave can organize as he has a boat (negotiate price).”
