Just seeing if anyone has stayed at the Hilton Anatole in Dallas with the "Jadewaters" water park?

Looking for a quick trip (its 3hr from NWLA) and it seems to be a decent little waterpark for kids.

Hot greatwolf lodge or the gaylord. Anatole is nice but if the water park is what you concerned about, then these two are better options.

Shreveport has a nice water park called "Watertown". Also some nice hotels within 1-2 miles of Watertown near pines road.

It's a nice mini vaca that won't break the bank.

Great Wolf Lodge in Grapevine...there's also a Lego Discovery Center within 5 minutes which is pretty cool. I would do both of those.

Both the Anatole and Gaylord did a huge pool/waterpark addition two years ago to keep up with Great Wolf. Ive done the Gaylord but have heard great things about the Anatole. Its a great hotel and close to everything.

Ive got a 1 year old and a 3 year old, so I think I will wait on Great Wolf until I can just turn both of them loose and get my moneys worth.

Bossier, I see there is a Moonrider Inn just up the road from Watertown that I might look into.

I would go with Gaylord over all. Great Wolf lodge is all kids and loud, but if that does not bother you go for it. I hate the location of the Anatole, you will as well. Grapevine also has Lego Land and an aquarium. Plenty of food choices from $ to $$$$.

You might also entertain the Hill Country
JW Marriott San Antonio Hill Country Resort & Spa
or
Lost Pines outside Austin.
